Fall/Winter 2003-2004

I know what you're thinking--"college life eh?"  BBC sure, well sometimes it is.  Other times, it's random, maybe amazing, and at least all the more newfangled.  Think about it.  Loescher Dorm, who knows what that means, and 60 or so guys living together.  Times, times, times.

FALL 2003

August
Like anything, meeting each other for the first time, trying to impress each other, and finding out who's who and who's what make looking back on the first month of college the best.

Steve Longnecker finds some good reading material as Ben King looks into some potent can of powdered tea Ben King and Phil Sole discover the greatest time killer in college, and it works.   why are these pants wet like this?
Andy Miller finds a room to himself, and the set up he put together remained unmatchable.  But noticed how he looks in August and in a little while compare.   Mike Levine, Gary Campbell, and Drew Lucas spending time together? My room, the first week, which would change each week.  Notice all the school work I was doing before I took the picture.  Impressed?

September
More pictures, more changes?  To my excitement, the leaves were changing colors.

Cary Ferguson diligently studies for an English Exam.  Let's all feel really bad for him as he looks deep in memorization.   Pizza party from Dr. Lackey for his son Eric, and his birthday. Amazing man, amazing son.... Imagine that.   Ben Williamson and I after a successful dorm contest that we almost were the only ones at.
Sometimes we would have bonding times together, and sometimes that would get quite uncomfortable.   strip devos with a long time friend.  my battle wounds from paintballs

October
The leaves were changing? yeah, try our first snowfall and hey we're finally acclimated to eachother!

Movie Party gets out of hand...two guys begin talking it out...maybe it will erupt into a fist fight...one of them is thinking about it.   Cary Ferguson....um, Ilya has to live with this guy.   Storytime with Boykin...fun times, too bad this one wasn't at 3 in the morning
I wonder if he wanted me to take his picture Guess what?  This is snow, and it was October 2.  I'm not joking.  Noticed how stinking cold I was.   This was a different snowfall in October, I was so excited that I took so many pictures.  I couldn't believe how it accumulated on my car.

November
Leaves are gone, you kidding me?  We're used to each other now, it's time for some fun.  The snow has finally arrived, or definitely is on the way.

K suite members, Cary, Tim with lots of hair, and Ilya, wishing someone a happy birthday the first release of the excitement of cross-country hair cuts.  Ouch.   cross-country national championships, what we do before the big race
Matt Delarme boils water...tell me you can't be be bored at some banquet Dorm Dad Boykin, amazing and fun Look what we found one morning the last day before Thanksgiving Break!

December
The leaves were changing? yeah, try our first snowfall and hey we're finally acclimated to eachother!

BBC Chapel, so which season do you think it is?  It's the best season of all--Christmas, and BBC did a good job with it.   But I'm afraid this is the best part.  Snow storms.  Check out the poor visibility due to the blowing pouring snow conditions.  I'm from Florida, give me a break.   Andy poses in front of "Christmas at K1"
Drew finds some great objects in the middle of a blizzard and brings them back to his room.  Notice the beanie he's wearing.  It's a Miami Dolphins cap and wait, why would they make one of those for Florida dolphin fans? The 5 (Me, Cary, Mike, Andy, and Ilya) who were about to brave the the cold weather to sled.  Sledding is by far the greatest thing ever.  It was fun, especially with  I noticed that the snow likes to bury cars.  I mean you have to go start your car like 20 minutes before you leave.  But this IS what a Florida car looks like in the snow
Christmas buddies all the way.  I'm looking forward to next Christmas for this very reason.  Merry Christmas Cary! The guys, Andy Miller, Andy Hindal, and John, walk to chapel one fine morning (Andy Miller and John would definintely brave the trip to Florida with me for Spring Break--Andy Hindal was origionally from there) Christmas also means finals.

coming today or tomorrow...
